How it Works
In the much the same way you interact with a small farm to purchase a "share" of the production of the land, Larouex takes that same concept to the idea of exclusive food production.
We really strive above all else to keep our quality very high, the delivery predictable and our products exclusive.
We also customize gift boxes for corporate gift giving or as a one of kind gift for friends and family.
There are too many products today that sacrifice quality and differentiation for the goal of a mass produced flavor. Our goal is produce food products that cannot be replicated in mass quantity because of our expertise and care makes something unique and worth savoring, hoarding and sharing with good friends.
Our products start with expensive products. I buy the meats at a local "live" butcher and strive for humane certifications on the meats and organic when it makes sense. I buy the milk for the cheeses from a local farm delivered by a real milkman. I buy the ingredients and spices at the Pike Place Market in Seattle where I had my first job and it is all straight from the farm. The pork for the Jambon comes from a unique whey feed head and we only produce Jambon when they have meat available.
Our goal is not to make big profits. We strive to produce small batch, exclusive foods that cannot be replicated in the marketplace. Think of us like that little BBQ shack down the road that has people lined up for a 1/2 hour to wait to place an order, they only have one cash register and sure, they could change to be more efficient, but screw it. The goal is quality and human interaction.
