About Us

It's simple, we love excellent food and more importantly, we dig food products that are made with a unique style and a focus on traditions.

Larouex started cooking back in his early years, focused on getting accepted into a chef apprenticeship in his youth and then work for private families and large hotels. In the end, making custom food products is the passion today.

How it Works

In the much the same way you interact with a small farm to purchase a "share" of the production of the land, Larouex takes that same concept to the idea of exclusive food production. Once you have been invited, accepted and a member of the Larouex Gourmet Foods family, you can place an order for an upcoming production run of your favorite items.

This is not designed for being convenient, but to keep the quality very high, delivery predictable and our products exclusive. Of course you are always welcome to make a petition to have a share run done on your timeline, but the costs incurred will be higher than a normal run and we reserve the right to no.

In the cases of pepper and BBQ sauces, we will do a run that may include 200 bottles of the particular type and then move onto the next prioritized sauce.

There are too many products today that sacrifice quality and differentiation for the goal of a mass produced, “Mc-Productized crap” and we all experience it. Our goal is produce food products that cannot be replicated in mass quantity because the expertise of our care makes something unique and worth savoring, hoarding and sharing with good friends.

What Does it Costs?

Our goal is not to make profits. We strive to produce small batch, exclusive foods that cannot be replicated in the marketplace. Think of us like that little BBQ shack down the road that has people lined up for a 1/2 hour to wait to place an order, they only have one cash register and sure, they could change to be more efficient, but screw it. The goal is quality and human interaction.

Our products start with expensive products. I buy the meats at a local "live" butcher and the milk from a local farm delivered by a real milkman. I buy the ingredients and spices at the Pike Place Market in Seattle where I had my first job and it is all straight from the farm. The pork for the Jambon comes from a unique whey feed head and we only produce Jambon when they have meat available.

 Product Production Run Size  Cost
Memphis Styled  Smoked Brisket

80 LBS

US $22.00 LB

Cotswold Cheese

24 LBS

US $18.00 LB

Le Petite Jambon 40LBS US $19.00 LB

The above are examples of the costs you will pay based on your share order size.

For example: If you plan to have a BBQ party and serve our Brisket for 100 people, you will need a total of 25 LBS and it will cost around US $550.00 plus shipping. This is in line with ordering from many online BBQ shacks, but we tailor to your request and allow modifications.

Love the idea? Let us nurture you with our great products and service.
